Openness and principles

Openness starts
with clear principles.

These working principles are the starting point for the centre we want to build.

01

Clear attribution

We distinguish between our own introductions, external research, statistics and academic ambitions. Sources should carry their publisher and reference.

02

Room for uncertainty

Limitations in data, methods and context should be visible. A figure should not appear more certain or more general than its source supports.

03

Respect for experience

Future work involving people must be designed with care for consent, privacy and potential burdens.

04

Corrections and criticism

We welcome academic criticism and corrections. Use the contact form if you find an inaccurate statement or a source that should be reconsidered.

ACADEMIC DIALOGUE

Let’s make room
for more perspectives.
